Something for Everyone

We meet during the day, when at-home mothers need the most support. Children are welcome at our activities, and we have mothers of all ages among our members. Each of us has a unique parenting style and we are able to share and learn from each other in a fun, relaxed environment.

Monthly Activities

Meetings – Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month at 10:00 a.m. This is a great opportunity to find out about upcoming events. From time to time, there will be speakers or discussions on topics of interest.

Playgroups – We have several age-based playgroups that meet monthly.

Book Club –  The book club gives moms a chance to get together to discuss the current reading selection.

Mom’s Night Out (MNO) – Once a month moms get together to socialize and get out for an evening without the kids! Activities usually include potlucks at members’ homes, movies, and dinner at restaurants.

Other Monthly Activities - These activities vary from month to month so that there is always something for everyone.  Activities may include play in the park, scrapbooking, cookie exchange, toddler playdates, storytime, and coffee hour – just to name a few!

Special Events

Annual Luncheon – Held typically in June, this luncheon is a nice treat for members to get together for a relaxing lunch and celebrate being moms.

Holiday Parties – Special activities are planned for Easter, Halloween, and Christmas.  The whole family is encouraged to
attend.

Community Service Projects – We feel it’s important to give back to the community.  Recently members made goodie bags for
local nursing home residents.

Baby Showers Casual gatherings to celebrate new arrivals and shower the mom with a few new things.

Secret Sisters – Secret sisters send one another cards, small gifts, and special messages.  It’s just a wonderful way to encourage
and support other moms.

Helping Hands – There are times when we all need a little extra help whether it’s after the loss of a loved one or the addition of a new little one.  Members provide meals, babysitting, transportation, or other services for members in need.
